The Church
The Church was a very important part of medieval life and culture. The Church's beliefs affected many things, such as medicine, science, and daily life and routines. Although it had light elements, such as saints, it also had dark parts. Some of the dark parts included the belief in witchcraft and medieval medicine. Many parts of the church were neither dark nor light, but instead, somewhere in the middle. The Middle Ages would not have been the same without the church, it was essential to everyone's life.
