Were The Dark Ages Really Dark?
Although the Dark Ages had many dark parts, such as medicine, wars, diseases and famines. However, there were also many light parts, such as religion, Gothic Cathedrals, Golden Ages, and Advancements in academics. Though we think that the Crusades, and the Black Death were bad, when you dig deep you find glimmers of light, mixed with what seems to be bad. When we hear Dark Ages we think bad, but when you learn Dark Ages, you think good. The difference between Dark and Light is just one word, but meaning, is a whole new understanding.

A: No, they weren't. They had some bad parts, it's true, life was hard, and the wars were bad to be a part of, but the Advancements they made were amazing, and all bad turned all good eventually. No, the so called 'Dark Ages' were not bad. We have Completely misunderstood this time in history. And from now on we will call it the 'MIddle Ages'.
