The Black Death
The Black Death was a deadly plague that arose in 1347. It came from a harmless bacterium in the soil, and was picked up by fleas. The fleas then found their homes, on rats.The plague originated in Central and East Asia, then the rats were carried away by ships straight into Europe. This was just after the 100 Year War between the French and the English, when everyone was practically harmonious. This plague killed over half the population, and showed up in waves. Everyone was vulnerable to the plague, people believed that this was a sign from the Devil, so they would try to push it away with prayer, and meditation. the plague was called, “The Bubonic Plague”, because it caused large swellings that infected the bones, called “Buboes”. The plague finally wore itself out in about three years later. About 25% to 50% of Europe's population, faded and the plague still kills to this day in Asia, and other parts of Europe.

The Crusades was a series of religious wars that was launched by Christians. The word ‘Crusaders’ means marked with a cross. This is relevant because the Crusades fought for the lord. There were many Crusades. In fact, there was a total of nine Crusades! The First Crusade was 1095-1099, and was established the Latin King of Jerusalem. The second Crusade was from 1147-1149, although it was a failure there was more to come. The third Crusade 1189-1192 was not many years after the second Crusade, the Muslims found a leader to fight against the Christians in another Crusade. After the third Crusade there were no more that affected the Holy Land. The fourth Crusade lasted from 1202-1261, the leader of the fourth Crusade was a young man who was ready, and prepared to fight for what he believed in.

After the Most effective Crusades there was the children’s Crusade, the minor’s Crusade, and the end of evil Crusade. These Crusades were not as big or effective as the first four.

The Hundred Years war was fought between the French and the English, and later the uburgandy the whole 116 years was fought in France. Joan of Arc was definitely one the most exciting figures of the Middle Ages history. Only 18 and fought in a war against the English. Edward (brother of passed Kings) was furious when Philip, cousin of Charles, was crowned king. So in rage Edward began, began to fight for what he wanted, and was determined to take his rightful place as king. he raised an army, that was prepared to fight in search of treasures that could possibly make them rich. The feudal system came into play with all the armies people gathered up. To this day people remember the Hundred Years War as a big part in history.

The Magna Carta was a document signed by King John to limit his rights as king. This document was a series of written promises between the king and his nobles. Stating that he must govern England and deal with it’s people according to feudal law. This was used to stop king John from abusing his power as king for reasons’ that do not include witnesses, or objectives. this document was signed in 1215. King John was being confronted, and forced to sign by 40 rebellious nobles. After King John's death this document was signed many times after. Although the Magna Carta did nothing to stop the feud between the nobles and the Kings it was still an important time in history that is still similar to government ways to this day.
